Rodeo Cool and collected - this is an extremely solid EP from one of my new favorite bands in New York. There's almost an alt-country vibe to this album that I'm really digging. The songs are well crafted and deliberate, without sounding forced. There's an atmospheric and experimental side to this album just lurking under it's cool licks and soothing vocals. Tiiidal brings something new to the Indie Rock sound with this album. Really looking forward to a full length! Favorite track: Meridian.

The Flood 06:13
Days are short time passes slow Like the river you watch it flow Look to the skies for what they show Look to the light to, to watch it glow When this is over When all this is done When this is done When all this is over When this is over When all this is done Watch it come and you watch it go From the heavens only heaven knows In your bones through the earth below I feel you tremble as your world explodes When this is over When all this is done When this is done When all this is over When this is over When all this is done Don't tell me it's! Done! She won't let us down she will catch the rock she won't let us down she will catch the rock

Meridian 04:44
I don't know where I'm headed but i'll just keep on, i'll keep on going There are things on this road the stories never told i'm a stranger in my head she's a stranger in my bed So we rest under dark light skies and we'll sleep to past the time There are things that we won't we won't get back i'm a stranger in my head she's a stranger in my bed i'm a stranger in my head she's a stranger in my bed i'm a stranger in my head she's a stranger in my bed i'm a stranger in my head she's a stranger in my bed

The sun sets over the shores of some distant place this is where I can see your face did we lose our touch? learn too much? let those three words turn to rust.. gravity held us close then but we slipped into, we slipped into the sea.. Yea we slipped into the sea I... I keep this photo of you and I know that it rings true I see those eyes that long black hair withhold in that love was just a dare gravity held us close then but we slipped into, we slipped into my arms.. Yea you slipped into my arms... Yea you slipped into my arms... I... I keep this photo of you... and I know that it rings true... and I know that it rings true... and I know that it rings true

There were days days we had yeah we had it all (all all) should have known to fly so high that one day we'd fall it's time you feel it passing and if you got time to look for something better well look for something better baby i'll be here take your time to read what's in my letter because it's written clear Remember when? when you said, "the good times were gone." when you told me it turned you off to turn me on it's time you feel it passing the times we feel are passing us... So if you got time for something better than look for something better baby i'll be here and take your time to read what's in my letter then hold me to the letter because it's written clear The day is done your sun is set it's too late to cry it's too late to change you'll never change did you even try? you can't mend all you regret so you should know why it's time you feel it passing the times we feel are passing us... So if you've got time to look for something better than look for something better baby i'll be here take your time to read what's in my letter then hold me to the letter because it's written clear
